• The EX230-NIST is a 12 Function Mini Digital MultiMate with IR Thermometer that is a no-brainer for anyone who routinely uses a millimeter and/or an infrared thermometer for DIY, home improvements, handyman jobs, electrical repairs and installations, automotive repairs, electronics work, HVAC, and more. The EX230-NIST is ideal for quickly identifying overheating motors or locating hot spots on electrical panels, or HVAC vents without contact. The built-in IR thermometer with laser pointer features a 6:1 distance to target ratio and a range from -5 to 446 degrees F. Measures current, voltage, resistance, and surface temperature. Customers who need to measure minute current readings can take advantage of low current resolution down to 0.1 μA. The Etch EX230 permits the user to select auto- or manual-ranging and provides continuity and diode testing. Data functions include a Relative Mode, Maximum Reading and a Display Hold function to freeze a reading on the display. In addition to the IR and Type K Temperature functions, the meter also measures Resistance (to 40M Ω), Capacitance, Frequency, and Duty Cycle. Meter comes with test leads, general purpose bead wire temperature probe, tilt stand, 9-volt battery, operating instructions and a certificate traceable to NIST.
