HI9241 HANNAThe Foodcare Thermistor Thermometer with Pre-Calibrated Probe - HI9241 is housed in a durable, waterproof, food-safe casing designed for use throughout the food and beverage industry. The HI9241 measures temperature in degrees Celsius from -50.0 to 150.0°C. This thermometer includes the HI765PW stainless steel penetration probe, but this can easily be exchanged with any other model in the HI765 series without requiring calibration. The HI765 series offers a diverse assortment of probes for measurement in gases, air, liquids, and substances that require penetration for accurate readings. Optional thermistor probes cover a wide temperature range from -50 to 150°C (-58 to 302°F).

Details

The Foodcare Thermistor Thermometer with Pre-Calibrated Probe - HI9241 is a durable, waterproof meter that can be used in the food and beverage industry with a wide variety of pre-calibrated thermistor probes. The HI9241 provides a temperature readout in degrees Celsius and offers calibration check and Hanna’s Battery Error Prevention System (BEPS) that will shut the meter off when the battery power is too low for an accurate measurement.

Features at-a-glance

°C Readout - Measurements are displayed in degrees Celsius on the clear, easy to read LCD display.

Calibration Check - The HI9241 is provided with an automatic calibration check feature at start-up, which allows the user to check the instrument calibration status. If the meter is calibrated, the display will stabilize and show “0.0 °C” (±0.3°C) in a matter of seconds.

Interchangeable Thermistor Probes - A wide range of thermistor type probes are available to meet the specific needs of users. Hanna Instruments offers the HI765 series that includes probes to measure the temperatures of surfaces, gases, air, liquid, and semisolid samples.

Optional Calibration Test Keys - For measurements that are always reliable, thermometers must be calibrated periodically. Hanna offers calibration test keys (not included) to offer a fast and simple way of checking the accuracy of the HI9241. By simply connecting the key to the probe input, the thermistor thermometer will display a reading; if the reading differs more than 0.4°C from the key value, the thermometer should be recalibrated.

Automatic Shut-off - After 8 minutes of inactivity, the HI9241 automatically shuts off to conserve battery power.

Battery Error Prevention System (BEPS) - The Battery Error Prevention System will shut the meter off when the battery power is too low for an accurate measurement.

Low Battery Indicator - When the battery level is below 10%, a warning symbol will blink to indicate low battery condition.
