Description
Formaldehyde (HCHO) is a volatile organic compound (VOC) and common source of indoor air pollution in homes and industries due to the presence of paints, dyes, synthetic resins, textiles, cleaning agents, flooring, wall paper and in paper manufacture, construction, pharmaceuticals, textiles, horticulture and the food, medical and cosmetic industries. Meters display HCHO levels on a backlit LCD. Also read RH (relative humidity) and temperature in °F or °C which can be adjusted to any standard. Recall the maximum and minimum HCHO readings and have user selectable audible & visible alarms for maximum HCHO level. Automatically calculate 8 hour time-weighted average (TWA), 1-hour average, and 15 minute short-term exposure limit (STEL). Feature one-button calibration to fresh air, hold function and a low battery indicator. Comes complete with tripod screw, soft carrying case, 4 x AAA batteries.
